OUR SERVICES AND OUR FACILITY

UAB Optometry is a 30,000 square ft. facility with 40 fully equipped vision examination rooms and state-of-the-art diagnostic instruments. As the clinical wing of the UAB School of Optometry, services are provided by qualified optometry interns and residents under direct supervision of licensed faculty. UAB Optometry has five Clinical Services which provide a wide range of vision care:

· The Primary Vision Care Service provides complete vision care for patients ages 17 and up.

· The Cornea and Contact Lens Service provides complete vision care for patients of all ages who wear or are interested in contact lenses or refractive surgery.

· The Pediatric Vision Service provides complete vision care for youths under age 17, including infant care.

· The Ocular Disease and Low Vision Service provides evaluation, treatment and specialized diagnostic testing for people with eye disease and provides low vision rehabilitation for those with permanently impaired vision.

· Optical Services which provides a complete range of stylish family eye wear choices.
